My name is Manson Boze. I founded Systemic Solutions to apply my passion for the art - and science - of workplace engineering. I am a business consultant who works with organizations to improve employee engagement, productivity and creativity. I draw on over thirty years of managerial and consulting experience in general and human resources management, total quality management, strategic and tactical planning and project management. I've had functional responsibility for HR, finance, IT, legal, planning and facilities management and worked in both the for profit and not-for-profit sectors. I’ve served as an individual contributor, team member and manager of up to 110 people with a $130 million budget.

A graduate of St. Christopher’s School in Richmond, VA and Hampden-Sydney College where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology, I was recruited by Philip Morris USA where I held a series of progressively more responsible positions over the course of eighteen years. A line management position led to a career in human resources with start-up experience and client groups ranging from sales to engineering to R&D and stops in Charlotte, NC, New York City and Richmond, VA. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to play a key leadership role in implementation of a total quality management system across all plants and functions while at PM. After leaving Philip Morris I served for ten years as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce where I re-engineered virtually all aspects of the organization’s operations and orchestrated a move from a company-owned building to fully renovated space in a downtown high rise. I have a broad understanding of every aspect of business and expertise in a number of topics. More importantly, I embody an uncommon mix of objectivity/analytical orientation and soft skill/intuition that makes a great problem solver.

In addition to my professional endeavors I am a dad, a climber and a somewhat rusty sailor. In recent years I have climbed in Alaska, the Tetons, Yosemite National Park and the Nevada desert. My son is a former national champion in competitive climbing in the youth categories. Don't get me started talking about him. :)
